" What are your strength & weakness as in the team? "
談談你在團體中的優勢及弱勢?
【Answer】
It’s hard to see yourself as others do but I have been told I got flexibility to handle situations in the team. As a public relations representative in my last job, I was able to turn around a negative working environment and develop a very supportive team. Being part of the team members, we all have different ideas. It is very essential to create a win-win strategy and to come up with a conclusion so that we can achieve customer’s expectation. Being flexible helps me lot to coordinate in different situations as a communication bridge.
Speaking to my weakness, I would say “over-enthusiastic.” When visiting clients, I spent extra time assisting them something that wasn’t part of my duties. By doing so, I knew that I might loose other opportunities with potential clients and my team partners will need to do the follow up due to the changes of the planning. I underestimated the importance of time management on all perspectives and I need to pay closer attention on that. Now, I carry a small booklet with me for the planning. When spending extra time, I reschedule and write it down on my secret booklet accordingly so our team can follow original plans.

自己和自己對自己的瞭解認知多少會是和別人看自己不同的，但曾經有人對我說過，我在處理事情時很靈活變通。由於過去身為公關代表，我能夠將團隊中低迷的工作氣氛轉為很有積極有活力的。身為團隊中的成員，我想每個人都會有不同的想法及經驗。我認為，能夠在團隊中創造出雙贏的策略及中立的結果近而達到客戶的預期是很重要的。「靈活變通的態度」協助了我能在不同的情況中成為一個溝通協調的橋樑。
至於說到我的弱點，我想我會說有時「過度熱心」。有時在拜訪客戶的過程中，常會過度熱心協助客戶一些不屬於職責分內的工作。也因為如此，我也許會喪失拜訪其他有淺力的客戶；且團員們也許需自行做追蹤客人。我了解在任何層面中，時間管理與控制是非常重要的，我必須更加小心與注意。現在，我隨身攜帶一本小冊子已便計畫與時間安排。當我知道也許會超過預期時間時，我就再另外安排時間並且寫在我的秘密小冊中，所以每位團員都能依照原訂計畫進行。
【面試技巧】
（1）“Strength & Weakness” 可以說是 Top Ten Classic Interview Question!此題中A藉由「別人說」（第三者的認證及認同）來提升 自己優點的可信性 “, to remain credible”: “but I have been told I got flexibility to handle situations”
（2）“flexibility to handle situations in the team”藉由提出先前的工作經驗 (公關代表) 因為靈活變通處理事情的態度使自己成為團員們的溝通橋樑。身為一位空乘員，在團隊中是必須有良好的溝通技巧；因為我們必須發揮團隊精神才能使每次的旅程完美的結束。尤其像全球招募的航空公司來說，如：Gulf Air 海灣航空；飛行的團隊來自於88個不同國籍的組員，靈活變通的態度可以有效的減少團員間的摩擦。
