"What three kinds of persons would you dislike to work with?'
你不喜歡與哪三種人一同工作？
【Answer 答 案】
Emma: I would say that impatient people, negative people or bad-tempered colleagues. The reason is that the job of cabin crew requires patience and sense of humour. I wouldn’t feel comfortable if I always hear complaints from my colleagues…just because he lacks patience to deal with his problematic passengers…Other than that, I can’t come up with anything else. I’d say that I get along with people quite well at work.
Emma說: 我認為沒耐性、負面思考、或是脾氣暴燥的同事，不好一起工作呢！因為空服員這份工作需要耐心及幽默感。我不喜歡總是聽到愛抱怨的同事發牢騷，只因為他自己沒耐心處理他的問題乘客。除了這點之外，我想不出其他了，我自認為我在工作上與人相處還算融洽的！
Frank: I’m sure Emma seems a nice colleague to work with, but it’s not the case all the time. I can now give you A MILLION examples of who I don’t want to work with. See, my current supervisor at the bank is so bossy. Not just that, one minute ago, she would nicely discuss with me about a client… but she can soon turn to a very nasty person scolding me for not being punctual at the last meeting…there’s more…my co-worker, John, always sneaks in my cubicle to nick my printing paper and some other stationary stuff…things like that…take advantage of me…
Frank 說: 我相信Emma是個很好相處的同事，但並非每個人都像她一樣呀！我現在就可以舉出一百萬個例子關於我不喜歡跟哪一種人共事。例如：我現在上班銀行的同組組長很愛作威作福、發號施令。一分鐘前她還很善意地與我討論著某位客戶…怎知突然變成很討人厭，責罵起我上次開會遲到的事…還有…我同組伙伴叫John，總是溜進我的辦公位置偷拿印表紙和其他一些文具…類似這種事啦…佔盡我的便宜…
Gillian: That doesn’t sound too nice, Frank. So far, I kind of agree with Emma’s point and feel much more fortunate than Frank. For me, I can’t think of any other kinds of people that I’d refuse to work with. Since the airline workplace is all about team work. All types of characters fit in this industry, regardless colors, gender, and personalities. After all, nobody is perfect. We appreciate other people’s strengths and learn from each other.
Gillian說: 那可真不太好啊，Frank。至今聽起來，我蠻同意Emma的說法，也慶幸自己比Frank幸運多了。對我來說，我實在想不出我會拒絕與某種人一同共事呀！既然航空職場是講究團體合作的。在這個行業中，融合了各種人，不論膚色、性別、及個性。畢竟沒有人是完美的，我們都儘量看別人的優點，然後互相學習的嘛!
【Tips 面試技巧】
這題是許多外商公司的必考題(“團體討論”或是”一對一”都有可能。所以這裏舉出三人示範回答。
(3) Gillian更有智慧。她的加分在於：(a)認同前述。(b)記住別的應徵者的名字Emma and Frank。(c)對Emma及Frank的論點都有回應。(d)並提出了外商公司最最重視的種族顏色、性別、及個性大融合的特色：regardless colors, gender, and personalities。(許多團體討論時，輪到後面才發言的人會發現：心想”完了，完了，都被大家講完了，我真擠不出什麼新的想法啦！”學學看Gillian聽過別人意見，再聰明地綜合成自己的想法！會讓主考官留下深刻的印象呦！誰說後發言就吃虧，不會錄取呢？Gillian就是擅用技巧的好示範。)
